The Inbound Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting the Inbound Sales Team Leader and wider sales team to convert and process inbound sales opportunities.

The Inbound Sales Consultant is responsible for converting inbound enquiries and leads into processing clients and providing a positive first experience for customers joining Smartly. You will also provide support to the wider sales teams and onboarding team to maximise conversion of opportunities.

We're seeking 3+ years’ experience in Learning and Development with proficiency in MS Office, Adobe suite,  Articulate 360 and eLearning and video authoring tools.  You will have strong knowledge of modern adult learning and design principals and models which engage the learner.

What does the job involve?

The role involves designing and developing learning solutions such as e-learnings, modules, training guides and videos.. You will manage small and large learning projects to ensure compliance and have a focus on meeting deadlines.  The ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders is essential.

As an Account Manager / Sales Development Executive at Smartly, you'll be pivotal in building trust, fostering loyalty, and driving new sales from businesses and partners who currently lack a relationship with Smartly or exhibit low engagement. Your focus will be on identifying these potential opportunities, establishing strong connections, and effectively communicating the value proposition of partnering with Smartly. Leveraging your expertise in relationship building and sales strategies, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our client base and establishing long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Ideally the role would be based in the Auckland region. However, there will be travel outside of Auckland required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within your assigned territory, leveraging our existing network and conducting targeted outreach.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, referral partners, and franchisors, to understand their needs and effectively position Smartly's solutions.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to tailor our offerings to meet the specific needs of clients and prospects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on how Smartly can address their pain points and add value to their business.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of partnering with Smartly.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to identify potential threats and opportunities for growth.
